August 3rd, 2011 Wolfman No comments

Fleur Jack, a singer/songwriter based in Auckland, New Zealand, is heading north to Canada & The USA this coming  September for a North American tour.

Fleur has  performed her music  in Hong Kong, Canada, Australia, and has toured throughout her homeland of New Zealand.  She earned her diploma in Contemporary Performance from the Music and Audio Institute of New Zealand (MAINZ) and holds awards for Songwriter of the Year and Performer of the Year.

Her debut album was recently recorded at The Lab Studios in Auckland, late April, and is currently waiting to be mixed and mastered.  Fleur has been invited to play the International Pop Overthrow Festival in Vancouver, Canada in early September.  Afterwards, she plans to purchase a van and head south, down America’s West coast.  Fleur will be taking her special brand of Kiwi Folk/ Country and Pop to as many people as possible on her journey.

The tour starts in Vancouver and heads south through Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas, New Mexico, and Colorado.  She will be bringing her Kiwi Folk, Country, and Pop style to audiences up and down the West Coast of Canada and the United States.

Fleur is currently raising funds to offset the cost of the tour and your help will be greatly appreciated and rewarded.  Enjoy this video and then please visit her project on IndieGoGo and help if you can.  Even a $10 investment will help greatly.

Thank you.

Katie Thompson continues to stir things up in the music world and now, she is a top contender in the “Hossey Music Award Song Of The Year” contest.

Her song, “Good As Gold” is currently in the top ten of the voting and if she can climb into the top 5 by the last Saturday in April, she will be headed to The Finals in December.  This would be a wonderful recognition for Katie and as one of her biggest fans, I am calling out for everyone to rally behind her for the next 13 days and vote for her.

Voting is simple.  Just go to the voting page; find her name; place a check mark in the box next to her name; and click the vote button.  If you like the video [below], which is the music video for “Good As Gold“, please leave a comment after you vote, and if you would really like to help, you can use this URL, http://bit.ly/Vote4KatieThompson, to include in your Tweets asking your followers to jump on board.  Let’s vote Katie to the top!!
