Goal: Submit “All The Way” to iPluggers

February 13th, 2012 Wolfman No comments

Hola Pack Family!

I have some exciting news to share!  At the beginning of this year, I contacted a service known as “iPluggers” and invited them to listen to the Pack’s music at WolfPackMuzic.com.   What they do is have their A&R department listen to an artist’s music to determine whether it is suitable for airplay on radio and if they agree it is, they will offer the artist’s release(s) to all radio stations that would like to receive the genres of the artist’s release(s).   Immediately after plugging, the artist has real-time insight in which radio stations from which countries have downloaded their release(s) for airplay.

To my delight, but to no surprise, they loved all of the Pack artists; but suggested starting with Gisel de Marco and invited me to create a profile on their site and upload her album for the A&R department to review.   After reviewing the album, they came back with some shocking news…they said her entire album is worth plugging; but since this is a service that must be paid for, it makes sense to start with 5 songs.   They suggested plugging the following songs in the Pop, AC, and Easy Listening genres:

* I’ll Never See You Again

* Reach the Sky

* Thinking of you

* I Wish I could fly

*  Sweet Condemnation

** What people say (best radio track)

After a few emails back and forth, we determined the cost and to cover the service.  I am starting a small private project to pay the fees.   Beginning now, the next 25 Limited Edition CDs that are sold will go towards paying for the plugging service.   I checked out how many radio stations are currently subscribing to their service that fall into those 3 genres and there are 6,522 A/C, 1,441 Easy Listening, and 1,560 Pop radio stations!

Many of you have a copy of Gisel’s album, “All The Way” and for those of you who don’t, it is worth the $20 investment, which includes shipping anywhere in the world.   If you’re not interested, perhaps you known someone who may enjoy her music and if you could recommend that they visit the following link and listen to her videos, they just might like it and they can order it directly from her Wolf Pack Muzic Discography page.

Thank you.

Pledge for Chiara

Eline ChiaraA couple years back, I found an amazing artist and immediately fell in love with what I heard; her name is Eline Chiara.

Her incredible range and power; combined with soft wispy vocals are what attracted me to her music.   She has similarities with Gisel de Marco with repect to style, passion, and genre…and because of that…I was happy she joined “The Pack”.

Now she is ready to produce her debut album and not only can you pre-order it and be a part of it; you can also help make her dream come true by supporting her Pledge Music Project.

Apryl Evans Just Became the 63rd Sellaband Recording Artist!

March 7th, 2011 Wolfman No comments

On February 06, 2008, Apryl Evans began her journey on Sellaband.com, a crowd funding website bringing musicians and music-loving investors together.  During the summer of 2009, Sellaband started experiencing problems with their website and later, financial problems.  On Feb 23, 2010, the company declared bankruptcy; ultimately causing many people to leave the site, artists and investors alike.  Soon after, the company was brought back to life by a German investor and the site picked up steam again.  Through all this turmoil, Apryl never gave up…she persevered and now, she can look back and reflect on what was meant to be.

On November 24, 2009, I  heard “I Shouldn’t” for the first time and instantly, I was blown away with the passion and depth Apryl injected into this incredible song.  I immediately invested my first 10 parts.  Between that time and now, I have backed this amazing artist whole heartedly.  Apryl stopped me in my tracks the first time I heard “I Shouldn’t”…it’s one of those rare songs that every artist strives to write and sing…but never attain.  It was obvious to me that this song came deep from within and carries a special meaning to her as she delivers the lyrics with emotions so strongly, it draws you in…and reminds the listener of times when they experienced similar feelings.

Apryl’s velvety smooth voice and beautiful Vibrato and Tremolo transferred her emotions straight to my heart, especially when she finished her message with her soft and wispy voice.  I was entranced in a sea of sympathy and found myself hurting for her…it is an incredibly powerful and moving piece.

I Shouldn’t” is a masterpiece that is a “Must Have” for everyone’s music library.  For me, “I Shouldn’t” is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard by ANY artist and it deserves world-wide recognition…it’s that good!  Songs of this quality, those capable of bringing out emotions from inside of the listener that have been dormant, are very rare…

Apryl received numerous accolades for her vocal prowess and was a finalist in the critically acclaimed competition, “New York City Idol“, which was featured in the New York Daily News.   She is currently in regular rotation on multiple radio stations and has been a featured guest on Central Jersey’s Blue Colt Radio and Hear New Brunswick Radio Station.  You will be able to read Apryl Evans’  interview in the archives of DAM Magazine.

I, and the rest of the Pack are proud of Apryl…now she heads to the recording studio, to bring us an album that will surely help put her on the map.

As is our tradition here…please enjoy this celebratory video; a tribute to Apryl’s accomplishment, as well as the rest of “The Pack“.

Anne Marie Sunshine Just Became the 61st Sellaband Recording Artist

February 20th, 2011 Wolfman No comments

Anne Marie SunshineIt’s been a long hard journey for Poland’s Anne Marie Sunshine; but now it’s official…she just became the 61st artist out of thousands to complete a fan funded album project on Sellaband.com.

Anne joined Sellaband on November 28, 2007 and weathered the site’s bankruptcy in 2010 and the many changes affecting the site’s overall performance.  With her accomplishment, Anne becomes the 13th Pack artist to achieve this amazing goal.

The Pack artists now comprise 21.3% of all Sellaband recording artists…quite impressive indeed!

Personally, I think it speaks volumes to the quality of their music and talent as musicians.

As it is our tradition, I now invite you to watch the official congratulatory video celebrating Anne’s incredible achievement.

Inge Maria is the 35th $50K Sellaband Recording Artist!!!

November 11th, 2009 Wolfman 4 comments

In what could be the fastest and most turbulent finish in Sellaband history, Inge Maria capped off her incredible journey of raising $50,000 US Dollars to record her first professional Album.  It’s normal and customary for artists [on Sellaband] who are close to achieving their “budget” goal to enjoy what is known as a “Countdown” chat with their believers, fans, and friends for a few days.  However, Rocket Lady, as she become known this past week, soared so quickly to the finish, there simply was not enough time to set one up!  In fact, artists will usually have a “Thank You” video ready to release immediately after they hit their goal; but once again, Rocket Lady Inge, didn’t have enough time to complete it.  I suspect, she’ll have something special for us tomorrow. :) )

Inge’s journey into the unknown began on April 13, 2008.  Along the way, Inge acquired some incredible support from a couple of extremely enthusiatic believers…MDWH and Andreas.  I joined her on July 6, 2008 and have been fortunate to celebrate so many happy moments with her, but I also wept for her during the sad times.

My first contact with Inge was a simple “Thank you” from her…thanking me for the support I was giving Gisel de Marco at that time.  She didn’t ask me to invest in her [like many other artists] and it was her concern for Gisel that showed me this was a special human being…someone who was more concerned with her fellow artist more than she was concerned with her own career.  That was the moment she won my heart forever!

I am so proud of Inge’s achievement and how she accomplished it…she weathered some very sad times, often so severe, that others would have given up.  But she is not one to give up easily; instead, she buckles down and works even harder.

As an artist, Inge is not your typical Pop artist.  She brings a whole new style and level of class to music.  She has a voice that is so pure, her voice reminds me of how I would imagine an Angel would sound…singing to my soul, as only an Angel could.  For those of you who have followed me on Sellaband, you could probably tell that Inge has a special place in my heart, and for good reason.  I never told her this before, but she and Gisel opened my eyes…they both showed me just how special Sellaband artists are…they both restored my faith in all the good qualities that are inherent in human beings; but not always demonstrated.  Inge is an artist I am proud to support and even prouder to call my friend!

I am absolutely confident that her album will make all of her believers very happy and proud, knowing they were a part of something special.

Thank you my dear friend…
