Welcome to “The Pack“.
This blog was created to introduce you to a collection of exceptionally talented International Independent musicians from around the world.
All of these musicians were discovered on Sellaband.com, where musicians and ordinary people who have a love for music, come together to raise capital to produce an album for their favorite artists. These investors are known as “believers” and fittingly so, because they believe in their artists so much, they invest various sums of capital to help their favorite artists reach their goal to produce an album.
The believers share in the profits from the sales of the album, so it is a “Win/Win” partnership for the believer and the artist. Additionally, many believers take their involvement to different levels; I am one of them. I have created a website for Gisel de Marco, assisted in website work for Aryn Michelle and Bonnie, and shared marketing information with all of them. Oh, and now, I have created this blog to showcase all of their talents through podcasts you will find on this blog, iTunes, and other places.

How about starting a quest for a budget to support wolfpack artists and/or finance a one song by each of them album. Support for all your artists in turn may be a lot of hard work, but a SAB-collected budget to promote all of them together would make a
lot of sense. All pack members would have one song ready for their solo album this way as well. I would not want to miss out on the wolfpack CD and would be ready to invest. The same goes for all the fans of all of the pack members I expect.
Division of money and attention between pack members in the plan may be a little complicated but may be well worth the effort.

an artist can never have too much support, so this sounds like a very interesting idea to me. what do you think Wolf? i wonder how much work it would entail on your part… ‘-))

Wow…MerchantEyes has a wonderful idea indeed! I have brought this up to the Grundmaster, but we’ve been so busy with other things, we never really talked about it much. Personally, I would love to see many compilation CDs from “The Pack”! I love these artists and I literally listen to them every day…all day long. I am thrilled that others will now be able to listen to their music.
As soon as saw your comment, I emailed all of the artists and directed them to your comment on this post and I’m happy to say that I’ve been getting some encouraging feedback! As you can see from Natalia’s reply above, she LOVES your suggestion, as do Katie, Apryl, LeeAnn, and Lindy. I’m still waiting to hear from the others…but we’ll keep you posted.
Natalia…Apryl suggested that we start a discussion thread and I think that is a wonderful idea! What do you think? I’m not sure what would be involved with this project…but what I do know is you are all special and from the feedback I’ve been receiving on our new music player…this could be a great idea! So, I’ll be contacting you all tonight…to start the discussion thread.

I love the idea, even though this is an old post I wanted to chime on in before mentioning it in the forums
