Eline Chiara

Eline Chiara started taking piano lessons when she was 8 and singing lessons at the age of 12.  She’s been taking  singing lessons ever since and started teaching herself how to play the guitar.

At age 17, Eline Chiara got in touch with producer/songwriter Rick Bacchus, with whom she wrote a song and subsequently recorded 4 songs in his New York City-based recording studio.  She returned to New York City 2 times, each time to record 2 songs.  Eline Chiara continues to work with Rick Bacchus.

Eline Chiara wrote the lyrics for “Northern Star” and it was the first song where she wrote all of the lyrics.  Previously, she did write lyrics,  but never for a full and professionally written song.  Additionally, Eline Chiara wrote the bridge for “I wanna know“. The lyrics for the remainder of her music were written by other songwriters.

Fly” is Eline Chiara’s favorite song, which was originally written for Celine Dion.  The melody still gives her goose bumps.

Where do we go from nowhere” is her most recent song and was written by Matt Moran.  In her words, “He’s got some amazing songs like ‘Freedom’ by Avalon.”

On Eline Chiara’s MySpace page, you will find a “for fun” recording of “On a Night Like This“.  She recorded part of the harmony to one of Chris Mann’s songs.

Eline Chiara loves ballads and when you hear her passion for them, you will agree this genre fits her like a glove!  Eline Chiara admits, “You will hardly find an up-tempo song on my iPod.  It’s full of pop songs and power ballads by Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Josh Groban, Il Divo, Charice etc.. you get the point.”

When you hear “Where I Belong“, I think you’ll agree she is going to leave her mark in the Pop/Ballad circles.  Eline’s vocals are silky and smooth…her riffs are subtle and delicate…and for “Where I Belong“, they compliment the strings and piano perfectly.  “Where I Belong” is a beautiful song about love and when she delivered her message, it painted a picture of two people deeply in love, sharing, touching…embrassing each other.  If you love ballads, I think you’ll cherish “Where I Belong“.  Eline’s inspiration comes from other songs and as she puts it, “They create moods and I guess I combine these things and lyrics come up…

Eline Chiara is currently busy writing songs with songwriters from the United Kingdom, United States, and the Netherlands for herself, as well as other artists.  She’s also quite busy recording her songs, as well as songs written for her, and songs that have already been written that she is licensed and allowed to record, produce, and mix.

Beside being an artist and musician, Eline is also attending college in pursuit of her “International Media & Entertainment Management” degree.  In August of 2010, Eline will be  moving to New York City to start her internship at a Manhattan-based recording studio, with engineering as her focus.
